The Brentwood Therapy Collective is a boutique mental health practice in Los Angeles, California serving clients in-person and via teletherapy. We are growing and looking to hire a Los Angeles based like-minded unlicensed or licensed therapist.

We are passionate about providing compassionate, competent, transformative and meaningful therapy to individuals and couples.

Our therapeutic approach is characterized by empathy and collaboration, with the goal of helping clients break free from negative cycles and patterns.

We foster a supportive and collaborative work environment where our therapists can grow and thrive. We are always looking for highly motivated, passionate, & psychodynamically oriented therapists to join our team.

The Role:

The ideal therapist can expect to build up their case-load overtime, (expect about 3-4 months). The role is a good fit for a clinician who is interested in the client work of a private practice but is disinterested in the administrative work. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the practice, seeing a minimum of 15-20 clients per week, and is interested in a long-term position.

Our ideal candidate

  • Motivated and expecting to have a full practice of in-person and virtual sessions to meet client needs.

  • A driven self-starter who is seeking and ready for a steady referral stream of individual and couples therapy clients.

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality, reliability, and maintaining a consistent client schedule.

  • Strong foundation in relational psychodynamic therapy.

  • Therapist with experience in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma. Comfortable working with individuals navigating life transitions, including new parents and career changes.

  • Self-motivated and proactive in managing caseloads, staying organized, and keeping detailed, timely clinical notes.

Responsibilities:

  • See minimum of 15 clients per week via a hybrid in person and teletherapy model.

  • Conduct free 15-20 minute consultation calls with prospective clients.

  • Complete session documentation in a timely manner, ideally immediately after the session.

  • Maintain a current CA license or associate number and current malpractice insurance.

  • Uphold the ethical and legal standards of the field.
